Columbian

Haze rises from the auburn colored liquid,
filled with the smell of warmth
and vanilla. White whip
coats, giving the impression
that it is a knoll of snow.
The contents fill a ceramic
perimeter with the designs
of bagels and french cafes.
My mouth slowly takes in the sweetness
and I am rejuvenated.
